 With over 35 years in the industry, I began my career in the CATV field doing everything from installations and troubleshooting of trunk, distribution, and power supplies down to drop repairs. I excelled at this for 15 years before I was given an opportunity to learn fibre from one of the best splicers in Ontario. I rose to the challenge and before long I knew fibre as well as coax and also learned Data Networks along the way. I have spliced fibre all over Ontario for such networks as Cogeco and Rogers as well as hydro utilities in Burlington, Hamilton, Guelph, Milton, Halton Hills, and Kitchen-Waterloo-Cambridge. I then transitioned into the office with responsibilities for planning, design, and construction of Data and HFC Networks. I also spent a few years using my electrical skills and knowledge designing, deploying and servicing Level 2 and 3 EV Charging sites across Canada.
